We Surround Them Principals and Values

The Nine Principles

1. America is good.

2. I believe in God and He is the Center of my Life.

3. I must always try to be a more honest person than I was yesterday.

4. The family is sacred. My spouse and I are the ultimate authority, not the government.

5. If you break the law you pay the penalty. Justice is blind and no one is above it.

6. I have a right to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness, but there is no guarantee of equal results.

7. I work hard for what I have and I will share it with who I want to. Government cannot force me to be charitable.

8. It is not un-American for me to disagree with authority or to share my personal opinion.

9. The government works for me. I do not answer to them, they answer to me.

Recognizing the problem is half of the battle!

I came to realize that God loved me more than anything in the world and that beating myself up about my weight and size was counter productive to His plan. Christ doesn't want us to live in a mindset that focuses us on our imperfections and fear. He wants us to focus on Him, His love for us and what we can do to love others. I have learned that instead of sacrificing myself to attempt to be all that other people want me to be, I need to sacrifice myself only for Christ.That is one of the reasons for my new found health kick and doing weight watchers. I know that God doesn't want me to live a life of sickness and death, so I am daily sacrificing myself and my health for Him. It was so hard for me to even tell anyone that I was going on a diet before, because I was so afraid of failure. I realize now that those people who love me will support and encourage me, and those who don't love me don't really make any difference anyway.
